Ava Carver

Ava CarveMy name is Ava Carver. I am 14 years old and from Moncks Corner, South Carolina. I am homeschooled and going into the 9th grade. I first got involved with archery on a NASP homeschool team called Holy City Homeschool Archery in 5th grade. It was hard at first due to the difficulties of being Autistic. My coach, Mr. Gary, told me to stay
positive, keep practicing hard, and I would get better. I ended up getting better and loving archery so much that in October 2024, I decided to hang up my Genesis bow and started shooting a barebow.  I shoot a Hoyt GMX 3 Series Riser with Hoyt Axia limbs. I would like to continue with archery and become a pro-archer and maybe even an Olympian someday. Some of my accomplishments include being South Carolina S3DA Shooter of the Year, finishing 4 that Easton Youth in Lancaster, PA and placing 2 nd at JOAD Indoor Nationals 2025.  I am really grateful and happy that not only me, but 2 sisters get to be staff shooter for Zulu Archery & Outdoors. I am going to work hard and do my best but most importantly have fun!!
