Samantha "Sami" McKinney

Hello, my name is Samantha "Sami" McKinney, and I have been shooting archery since I was 10 years old. I am the team captain for the Cincinnati Junior Olympians. The first time I ever shot a bow was at a church camp when I was in 3rd grade, which I quickly forgot about until I saw a billboard after leaving my soccer team and decided to try archery again. Ever since then, I made it my goal never to stop. In my time in archery, I have made numerous friends and met a lot of great people. Although I may have faced a lot of struggles through injuries, mental conditions, or medical conditions, those people helped me find ways to keep shooting and stay positive, and that is why I refuse ever to let any ailments stop me from shooting. Outside of archery, I love playing and listening to music, art, gaming, reading, designing, and gardening. My ultimate goal for archery is to medal at the Olympics and coach my own team in archery.
